If I was to go back and redesign my school, to make sure that pupils were discovering things for themselves, rather than being stuffed with some approved curriculum of facts and figures, I’d make sure that every pupil had a dedicated workshop/studio space and access to their own bench in a science lab plus a school farm/garden, nature reserve, field studies centre . . .
